This gorgeous filly is a sister to the incredible “Put The Kettle On“, the only mare to have won 2 grade 1 chases against geldings. She looks to have everything required to be a top class horse for her owners and will hopefully provide them with lots of exciting days at the races.
She has already impressed her trainer Jonjo O’niell in her work at home and we can’t wait to get her started and see what she can do on the track. Hopefully she will get close to being as good as her incredible sister.
Polly as she is currently known (her stable name as her sister is put the kettle on – “Polly, Put the Kettle on“), is a beautiful filly who glides across the ground. TopSpeed were thrilled to buy such a high class filly with one of the best pedigree’s there is, indeed her half sister has just been retired and sold for £380,000 as a broodmare.
Quote from Will & Tom “The main attraction to her at the sales was the way she covered the ground which when combined with her pedigree means she has everything we look for in a TopSpeed horse and she certainly has lots of potential we are sure our members are going to enjoy.”

Name For Fame
Won twice on the track but it is her offspring who have excelled on the track. The most high profile being the remarkable “Put The Kettle On”, the only mare to have ever won 2 grade 1 chases at the
Cheltenham festival against the boys. Another of her offspring “Carnigli” is also a top class performer gaining blacktype. This looks set to continue with “Young Butler” showing lots of ablity for trainer Emma Lavelle winning 2 of his 6 races.
Managed to win from just 5 starts on the track, however like her daughter it was her second career as a broodmare where she has really shone producing no less than 3 blacktype horses in “Borazon, Name For Fame and Birthplace”
Produced a number of high class horses including the blacktype horse “Wixim” who earnt over £150,000 from just 13 races including a win in a group 2 mile race at Sandown. This secured him a future as a stallion.
